Services
Contract Production of EBooks:
For a fee based on word count/length of manuscript, as well as on insertion/placement of images/illustrations and internal complexity (hypertext links/indexing beyond simple CSS TOC), we will convert any book from a modern electronic manuscript into an ebook with print book qualities. We will then provide the client ebook files in the two standard formats (epub, mobi); for a small additional fee we will provide files in other requested formats.
We will also provide these services, each for a specific fee based on complexity of task:

cover art and cover design
interior art, illustrations, tables, charts and photography
hyperlink indexing
conversion from obsolete word-processing files into modern electronic manuscript
format (Microsoft Word)
OCR scanning and editing from book or manuscript
(Note: Accurate and efficient OCR scanning from a copy of a book requires that the
copy be dismantled; standard contract terms include providing client with a copy of the
modern word processing document for the client's future use)

conversion into any e-reader format
Contract Production of Print Books:
In addition to ebook production, we offer our full range of print services to clients. Our in-house full-service printing plant offers the latest in digital and offset full-color printing of quality books and perfect binding for trade paperbacks; we contract with long-time associates for hardcover binding and mass-market printing.
We are able to offer our clients all of the same production services for print projects, whether the basic materials are produced originally as an ebook project or are produced directly for print. Our be based on complexity/expense of task. Using our combination of offset presses (which produce superior covers) and our digital press, we are able to economically print smaller runs--what we call "Print to Order" instead of POD--than can most traditional publishers.
Prices
Basic production service for the complete interior of a standard fiction book up to 100K words: $125 to $175. Standard copy editing provided for clean manuscripts. The client receives in return a quality ebook in the two standard format files and a metadata/information file.
Basic production service for the complete interior of a standard non fiction book up to 100K words: $250 and up. Standard copy editing provided for clean manuscripts. The client receives in return a quality ebook in the two standard format files and a metadata/information file.
Cover design using suitable art provided by the client: $75 to $125. Depends on the complexity of the task of fitting the art into the design.
Production of cover art: $150 (very basic cover art) and up. Negotiated with the cover artist, price depending on the complexity of the task as required by the client.
Inclusion and placement of interior illustrations, charts, maps, tables, photographs and other images provided in suitable electronic format by the client: $50 and up. Depends on the complexity of the task and the number of illustrations.
Production of art and other images for interior illustration: $25 and up per image. Negotiated with the artist, price depending on the complexity of the task as required by the client.
Content editing: $25 per hour
Copy editing: $25 per hour
OCR scanning/editing: $25 per hour
ISBN procurement: $150
Copyright process: $100
Production of print books: Depends on the project. Contact us for a bid.
The EBook Project will submit an estimate and a bid for each project based on the services required by the client. We may offer a discount on a contract for multiple projects. We may ask for a percentage of the estimate to be paid upon confirmation of the contract. Payment for all services will be made within 30 days of the delivery of the final product.
